Some navigation systems are adapted to the needs of heavier vehicles such as campers, trucks and coaches. This is also the case with the BECKER Transit.5s EU navigation, which has a slightly differently designed map system. But that's not all, because it is also equipped with a lane assistant, route planning taking into account available routes and a system that reads TMC and RDS information.
Basic navigation functions
In the case of the BECKER Transit.5s EU navigation, which is equipped with a number of basic functions that make driving simply easier. Of course, this means the ability to plan the fastest, most economical and shortest route, as well as updating (TMC) information on road incidents.
The device also has a speed warning function and a speed camera database installed. Using navigation, you can also avoid traffic jams, which will make getting to the selected point much faster.
Advanced navigation features
Thanks to many interesting advanced functions, the BECKER Transit.5s EU navigation meets the requirements for equipment intended for drivers of campers, trucks and buses. Of course, we are talking about setting a route based on specific vehicle parameters (height, weight, etc.). It is also equipped with very accurate city maps, including the nearest parking spaces. In turn, camper enthusiasts will appreciate the function of providing information, e.g. about service points for travelers, as well as the facilities available in their area.
The most important technical parameters
The functional BECKER Transit.5s EU navigation has a 5-inch display that clearly and legibly presents all the most important data regarding the current position of the car. But that's not all, because its dimensions are only 138 mm (width) x 85 mm (height) x 14.5 mm (thickness), so it does not interfere while driving. Moreover, this equipment has the function of rendering the image of the surroundings in the 3D standard, which in practice translates into even more accurate orientation in the field.
Additional information
Thanks to the flexible power cable, it is possible to connect the BECKER Transit.5s EU navigation directly to a 12 or 24 V socket. The device also has a built-in lithium-ion battery, thanks to which it can operate even after accidental disconnection from the power supply. The navigation is also equipped with a MagClick holder, which allows you to quickly detach the navigation from the holder without having to unplug the power cables.

BECKER MAGCLICK
A particular advantage is the new Becker MagClick active holder. It allows for solid mounting of the device in the vehicle thanks to magnetic connectors. The device can be mounted and dismantled with one move. At the same time, magnetic contacts enable safe charging of the device. Inconvenient connection of the charger cable is no longer a problem thanks to this solution. In addition, the active mount is equipped with the Herbert Richter 4-hook system, making it compatible with many mounting bases. This gives you the best conditions for permanently mounting your navigation device in the vehicle.

The renowned Becker Situation Scan offers a set of intelligent functions that support the driver with useful information and tips depending on the traffic situation and driving progress.
Detour assistant: calculates a new route in the event of traffic difficulties
Exit assistant: If you leave the designated route, it analyzes possible reasons and helps you find e.g. a gas station
Parking assistant: finds parking near your destination.
LANE ASSISTANT PRO 3D
Pro 3D Lane Assistant shows you the correct lane in a moving animation when you are about to change lanes. This allows you to choose the right lane at the right time.
3D TERRAIN VIEW
3D Terrain View shows elevation and landscape profiles and local attractions along your route in a realistic 3D view on a high-resolution screen.
BORDER ASSISTANT
When you approach the border during your journey, Becker SituationScan recognizes it and informs you at the right time about the last gas station before crossing it. Additionally, it provides information about legal regulations in a given country, including: about speed limits and blood alcohol limits.
SPEED LIMIT WARNINGS
Information about the permissible speed is displayed on the screen, and an acoustic signal warns the driver about exceeding the programmed threshold (to be set).
NAVIGATION THAT LEARNS WHILE DRIVING.
Becker navigations not only take into account historical traffic data, but also collect new ones as you travel. For this purpose, the device remembers your route while you are driving. The data is then processed anonymously and combined with data collected from other users. Thanks to regular updates, the calculated routes will be increasingly faster and more convenient, and will be appropriately selected depending on the time of day and time. This means your journey will be faster, less stressful and you will save on fuel.
