XGIMI Aura 2 short throw laser projector

The Aura 2 model is the successor to the Aura laser projector from XGIMI, offering 28% more brightness than its predecessor. It is a device that supports 4K resolution and is distinguished by an ultra-short throw. By placing the projector at a distance of 17.8 cm from the wall, you can obtain a 100-inch image (the maximum recommended image size is 150 inches). This is due to the projection ratio of 0.177:1, which makes Aura 2 suitable for virtually any room, regardless of its size, and is an excellent alternative to a large-screen TV.

EISA Award

XGIMI Aura 2 is the winner of the 2024-2025 EISA award in the short throw projector category. The plebiscite jury appreciated the innovation of this DLP projector with a laser source in Dual Light 2.0 technology. According to the jurors, the projector will be perfect not only for watching movies or TV programs, but also for sports or games. The high brightness of the Aura 2 model allows you to use it not only in the evening with the lights off, but also during the day.

Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced certificates

The projector has received Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced certificates (IMAX support will be introduced after an upcoming software update). Dolby Vision HDR mode delivers incredibly vivid and realistic images, making your viewing experience even more immersive. And with IMAX Enhanced mode, users can enjoy an immersive cinematic experience similar to those known from IMAX theaters. Moreover, IMAX Enhanced support also allows you to watch video content in ultra-wide angle (1.9:1 aspect ratio).

High brightness and Dual Light 2.0

Extraordinary visual experiences are provided by, among others: thanks to the projector's high brightness of 2,300 ISO lumens and an astonishing dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The projector supports the proprietary Dual Light 2.0 technology, developed especially for the Aura 2 model. It uses a laser light source, unleashing its potential and ensuring exceptional image quality in terms of brightness, contrast, color range and precision of individual color reproduction. The dual hybrid laser source eliminates the projection problems associated with triple laser models.

Automatic image calibration

The projector supports ISA (Intelligent Screen Adaption) technology in the advanced version 5.0. In practice, this is an intelligent adaptation of the screen that significantly simplifies the operation and configuration of the device. After turning on, the projector automatically adjusts the display parameters to the surroundings in just a few seconds.

Screen alignment assistant

With this function, the Aura 2 model automatically adjusts the image parameters to each screen size and position of the projector in relation to it.

Automatic keystone correction

Aura 2 smoothly corrects the displayed image, reducing trapezoidal distortions, without the need for tedious manual modification of the screen shape to obtain a perfect rectangle.

Adaptation to the wall surface

By scanning the QR code and a few simple steps, Aura 2 will provide a flat image. This solution makes every wall a perfect "canvas" for your projector.

Adaptation to wall color

Aura 2 is equipped with a precise CMOS module. Automatically adjusts the color temperature of the displayed image to the wall on which the image is projected, ensuring realistic colors.

Smart eye protection

Function that detects the presence of anyone in front of the projector and automatically turns off the lamp to protect your eyesight. This is a perfect solution, especially when there are children at home.

Autofocus

Function that automatically adjusts the sharpness of the displayed image.

Art Mode

Thanks to the Art Mode solution, you can admire the works of famous painters by displaying them in a large format on the wall or a special screen. This operating mode uses the XGIMI Wall software available in the application repository on the device. Thanks to it, you will turn your home living room into an art gallery and make the projector easily blend into any home decor, combining its rich functionality with a unique style.

Eco Mode (Eco Mode, Smart Dynamic Sensing)

The projector supports Eco mode. It reduces the brightness to the lowest level after 5 minutes of inactivity and turns off the screen after 20 minutes, which not only improves viewing comfort but also saves energy.

Built-in Android TV

The projector supports the Android TV platform, giving the user access to the world of entertainment and various VOD services. Thanks to this, the user has access to thousands of applications, including e.g. Amazon Prime Video or Disney+. The software also lets you stream content from any iOS/Android device with Chromecast built-in, and lets you enjoy easy voice control with Google Assistant.

Integrated speakers and amplifier

Aura 2 has built-in electro-acoustic transducers and a 4 x 15 W power amplifier, which will allow you to play sound in the absence of a real stereo or home theater system. The projector supports, among others: such sound systems as Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus, as well as DTS-HD, DTS Studio Sound and DTS Virtual:X. Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth module, the projector can also act as a wireless speaker.
