The UTC-53AS features an Arca Swiss-style quick-release coupling on an all-new ball-socket head. The tripod is light but extremely durable. This is a completely new class of carbon tripods. The product is equipped with 5-section carbon legs and a 2-section central column lift, UTC-53AS supports a 1:4.3 dimension ratio between compact and unfolded.
Tubular structure with direct contact:
By turning the end of the leg counterclockwise, all sections of the leg are loosened and can be folded.
Semi-lying to fully lying position:
Pull up the central leg adjuster to change the leg lock position. Twist to the right to make the legs irreversible. This allows you to change the angle of the legs to a half-lying or fully lying position for macro photography.
Changing the angle of the legs:
The leg angles can be changed from the standard 25° to 45° and then to 75° step by step on each leg. The leg angle position can be canceled by pressing right.
Head:
The quick release plate slides in and is automatically locked by a lever on the foot. The lever can also be rotated for additional security.
Reverse fold:
The UTC series has legs that fold by flipping a full 180 degrees.
