Jimu Robot MeeBot educational set + Animal Add-On Kit

The Ubtech Jimu robot is an extraordinary toy. This is a set of blocks containing a main unit and servo motors that will introduce you to the world of electronics design and programming. If the world is to be taken over by robots and managed by artificial intelligence, we better prepare for such a scenario. Learn the basics of programming and the MINT elements of mathematics, engineering, science and technology (which is equivalent to the English abbreviation STEM - science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Meebot Jimu and the Animal Add add-on are an extended set for building and programming a robot.

MeeBot

The MeeBot Jimu kit is a great introduction to learning future engineering. You'll find everything you need to build MeeBot, or you can create your own. Watch the robot come to life by choosing one of the pre-programmed actions, such as a crazy dance, or come up with one of your own robotic creations. Create custom actions with PRP (Pose, Record, Play). MeeBotem also allows you to learn programming if you use the Apple Swift Playgrounds app.
MeeBot is a kit for building interactive robots from the JIMU family. It was designed for learning programming in primary schools, but its educational values ​​will allow people of virtually any age to start their adventure with robots. The social networking site, which brings together JIMU users from all over the world, allows you to share your robot ideas, use other users' ready-made projects and helps you solve problems while learning programming. The set is intended for children from 8 years of age.

Simple folding

The JIMU kit includes instructions for building several simple models. The microcomputer connected to the servos can befreely programmed in the intuitive and accessible "Blocky" block diagram. This method allows you to program the robot by setting the order of commands and adding conditions without knowledge of programming languages. It is also possible to program byrecording movements. Just move the robot arm in the selected way and save the movement to the Blocky system. It is then available for use in our flowchart. The programming application is available on Android and iOS and can be downloaded for free. It connects to the built robot viaBluetoothand opens up full possibilities for our robot. It includes assembly instructions for several models and a control center with an easy-to-use controller and pre-programmed actions. In addition, it allows Blocky programming with many instructions that will help you in your first steps. The MeeBot set can be freely expandedwith additional components and other JIMU sets to diversify the robots.

Animal Add On Kit

The Animal Add is a set that allows you to turn MeeBot into one of four animals. The T-Rex, Penguin, Walrus or Parrot characters can only be built by combining with parts from the Meebot Jimu Robot set. Create your robotic pet, then expand the fun by learning how to program the robots in the Jimu app by having them perform actions such as walking, swinging, etc. This is possible thanks to the use of 279 snap-on parts and an additional smooth-motion servo motor.

Program with Blockly and Apple Swift Playgrounds

Instead of writing program code, Apple's Swift Playgrounds platform allows you to plug in ready-made function blocks, such as cycle blocks or conditions under which the toy will need to perform certain actions. Playing with a robot you will not only have fun with, but also gain invaluable experience in robot programming and engineering.

Fun training and development

With this robot toy from the Meebot collection, your child will easily discover and learn many new physical phenomena (STEM learning). Ubtech Limu - This is also fun programming.
